melbourne day one

we woke up super early, it was pouring rain in sydney, and when we got to the airport, we were told there would be a two hour delay for our flight. possibly not the best start, but whatever. when we got to melbourne, we had to wait around for a bit at southern cross station for our hotel transfer bus. when we got on the hotel transfer bus, the driver uh, ran into the kerb and broke the door. he fixed it by continuously running into the kerb. we got to our slightly small, gross hotel room only five an a half hours late. starving, we went to the nearest indian restaurant - deliciously overpriced and under proportioned. however it was followed by a lovely walk through fitzroy park.
